The College & Graduate School of Art Recognition Ceremony features the presentation of candidates for the Master of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees, and acknowledgement of those students receiving honors, prizes, and awards.

The guest speaker for this year's recognition ceremony is creativity and learning expert Dr. R. Keith Sawyer, PhD, associate professor of education, psychology, and business at Washington University. The student speaker is Jessica Sarah Ruben, a candidate for a Bachelor of Fine Arts in communication design.

Diplomas are distributed during a separate ceremony May 18 on Steinberg Hall Terrace, followed by a reception.
