Beginning in Fall 2011, students enrolling in the Sam Fox School have the opportunity to pursue a Bachelor of Design in Architecture, a four-year undergraduate degree program that provides ultimate flexibility in your curriculum. In this program, you can continue to take selected course work in Architecture during your senior year, including senior-level architectural design studios, and also complete a student-directed capstone project. In addition, you may elect to devote the better part of your final year's course work to further study in the College of Arts & Sciences, the College of Art, or the schools of Business or Engineering. You may also complete a minor or second major.
The Bachelor of Design program prepares you to move on to a master's degree, putting you on track for teaching and leadership positions in architecture and other related fields.
